Capitol Intercessors

STATE HOUSE, TRENTONThis ministry is under the leadership of Rev. Sheryl Price and Rev. Patricia Wenzel.

Rev. Sheryl Price co-leads the Global Apostolic Prayer Network in NJ with her husband Rev. John Price.  They also serve as pastors at His Hands Ministry in
S. Jersey.

Over one hundred and forty people have been trained to serve as intercessors in our NJ State Capitol.  Intercessors are on location during legislative session days.

If you are interested in serving as a Capitol Intercessor please send a letter of interest along with a recommendation from your pastor to Rev. Patricia Wenzel, P.O. Box 246, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438 or e-mail your letter of interest and pastoral recommendation to patricia@praynj.org.

We are looking for people who feel called to serve the Lord in prayer for their governing authorities. This is a special ministry and those who serve in this manner are required to be teachable, flexible and submitted. Those trained will be asked to serve on site at the state capitol building no more than one day a month on a Monday or Thursday. You must attend one training session and supply us with a written letter of approval from your pastor. Please be sure the pastors name and contact information are included in the letter.

Pastors, we welcome and encourage you to become a part of this important ministry in New Jersey. Approximately one half of the intercession team at the statehouse are pastors. Many come with their Elders or personal prayer teams.
